When I was a new mom, cooking felt really overwhelming. Though I was skilled in a lot of other areas, I needed practical help with how to use the stove and burners! I ended up coming upon a blog of a homeschool mom who shared some healthy and simple recipes that I could easily start with on my cooking journey. I was so grateful! Her encouragement helped me start to love the kitchen, even with kids running under my feet.
Because of that, I wanted to include a section on some of our family-favorite, SIMPLE recipes below! My husband can make beautifully complex dinners that would win over any belly, but he’s at work 8 hours a day, so feeding the kids is up to me!
